About this event
Learn the fundamentals of costume fabrication at the Visual Art Institute. This beginner-friendly class covers pattern making, sewing machine usage, foam clay sculpting, EVA foam detailing, and 3D modeling on iPad. Students will work on projects to build essential creative problem-solving skills for future cosplay visions. Please bring a sketchbook for note-taking on supplies and techniques. This course is designed for teens and adults looking to start building costumes from scratch.
