Salt Lake Community College – South City CampusFree
About this event
Come see these striking large-scale oil paintings that blend ancient mythology with the realities of modern technology. You will find figures like Aztec princes and Assyrian colossi set in surprising, contemporary scenes involving VR goggles and smartphones. Each piece takes half a year to finish, resulting in incredibly detailed work that explores how we connect with history and the digital age. It is a fascinating look at the human experience through the eyes of an Iranian-American artist.
